FUNDACION CAS ANIMAL (Animal Home foundation) is a foundation which is dedicated to all animals on Aruba and mainly for animals which must be caught saved, and looked after, without a profit margin. In no case death will follow for any animal if it is not suffering. If the animals cannot be placed in a new environment, they will remain at the sanctuary until they die a natural cause. Primarily this will concern dogs and cats, but all other animals such as donkeys, goats, chickens, birds and iguanas are welcome as well.
At this moment the situation is very difficult because we have 65 dogs in the house in Sabana Basora, which is a regular family home of Kirsten Arndt, one of the founders of the Foundation. Next to that we have around 25 street projects. Street projects can be dogs we sterilized/castrated, we feed, we try to get close enough to be able to catch them or build doggy houses for. As well as the dogs we saved and replaced we frequently visit to see how they are doing. The services CAS ANIMAL provides are as follows: Animal Ambulance / Animal Taxi-service Animal Birth Control Rehabilitation Sanctuary Lost & Found Service (in cooperation with www.24ora.com) Pet Hotel Education (in cooperation with several schools) Pets Burial Service Hurricane Shelter Thanks to the cooperation of both Vet-Clinique’s we already have 3 – 5 rides a day with the Animal Ambulance. MissionThe mission of CAS ANIMAL is ”Save, don't kill, but keep ''. With this mission, CAS ANIMAL wants to stress that in most cases, the animals CAN be saved with a good and consistent treatment. Education is important with reaching the goals and challenges.

Update september 2011: Helaas hebben we al heel lang geen contact meer gehad met CAS Animal en ook geen contactpersoon meer waardoor we hen niet meer kunnen helpen.
