Zwerfkat in nood II is an organisation which takes care of the smallest straycats. Besides of this VZW Zwerfkat In Nood II is a safe place for sick (stray)cats. The cats live for a while with their foster parents untill they find a new home. The fosterparents take care for their health and their socialisation. The cats are staying in the living room of their new parents. A reason for this is that they get all the love they need. Another reason is that they will get used to al the sounds that belong to their new life. When they are old enough, healthy and strong, we will find a new place to live for them.
Buddykat is an organisation which takes care for cats infected with the HIV virus. The virus is comparable with the HIV that can infect humans. It is very important to know that a cat can not infect an human. Unfortunately these cats often get killed because people do not know that these cats can have a beautiful life for some years. Due to this reason buddykat does not only take care for these cats, but they also give advise to owners and give information to as much people as possible. Everyone should know that an infected cat, can live for some years. They really enjoy life. Buddykat exists now for three years. In this short period 12 HIV cats found a new home. The home of Buddykat looks like a normal home, the cats can use the couch, watch television and can play with others cats or their attendant. The main goal of Buddykat is letting people know that these cats are wonderful animals.
