We are fortunate enough to have many people donate meds to us on a monthly basis. I'm sure there are many more groups who are not getting the meds they need and could use the products you send more then us.

Graag willen we de AMCF, jou en niet te vergeten de donateurs van AMCF hartelijk danken voor de gedoneerde spullen. Wij en de Roemeense vrijwilligers (en zoals op de foto’s te zien is, ook de honden) zijn er enorm blij mee. De verzorgingsmiddelen kunnen erg goed gebruikt worden voor de 700 honden die op dit moment in Boekarest in de opvang zitten. De meeste spullen zoals verbandmiddelen, handschoenen en alcohol zullen wij gebruiken voor de grote sterilisatiecampagne dat we gestart zijn. Voor ons dus een belangrijke meevaller, omdat wij, dankzij het inzetten van eigen materialen, een stuk minder hoeven te betalen voor de sterilisaties. Dat is niet niets, want met die besparing kunnen we natuurlijk weer extra honden laten steriliseren. Super! En ook super veel dank nogmaals!

14-05-09 Aanschaf Motorvatspuit!
Eindelijk was het zover, dankzij zeer gulle donaties van verschillende mensen heeft Stichting Fuertedogs de zo noodzakelijke sproeikar kunnen kopen. Dit is een zeer grote aanwinst voor finca Fuertdogs daar we nu de mogelijkheid hebben om het gehele terrein met grote regelmaat te desinfecteren en van de zo hardnekkige vlooien te ontdoen. Wat voorheen met de handmatige sproeier een onmogelijke opgave was, is met de motorspuit op efficiënte en snelle wijze te realiseren. Stichting Fuertedogs is dan ook zeer gelukkig met de nieuwe sproeikar en wil bij deze nogmaals alle mensen die voor de sproeikar gedoneerd hebben van harte bedanken.

We would like to apologise for not having taken photographs of this valuable donation but would like to assure you that we did receive it. Our volunteer veterinarian from the UK returned to Kosovo in March 2009 and upon her return she was delighted to find these medications and goods stored in her clinic.

This was taken at our main kennel in Corvera Murcia where we have over 20 dogs here are present.
Lomax is the dog being treated and much of your donated product has been used on the other dogs.

Curacao Animal Rights Foundation heeft recentelijk haar eerste donatie-pakket van AMCF mogen ontvangen. We zijn er bijzonder blij mee en kunnen de spullen meer dan goed gebruiken! Bedankt!!!
Het aantal honden dat we opvangen is in de tussentijd helaas weer gestegen. We zitten overvol en zijn hard op zoek naar pleeg- en adoptiegezinnen. Er hebben wel adopties plaatsgevonden maar de aanwas van nieuwe honden (vooral pups) is enorm. We zetten alle zeilen bij die we hebben en laten ons niet ontmoedigen maar af en toe worden we er pijnlijk mee geconfronteerd dat 95% van de bevolking geen baat ziet in sterilisaties. We zijn blij met alles en iedereen die ons werk steunt, op welke wijze dan ook.
Het aantal vrijwilligers dat zich bij CARF aansluit, stijgt gelukkig. Middels onze volgende nieuwsbrief, die vandaag of morgen wordt verzonden naar de 211 leden die onze Hyve inmiddels telt, proberen we meer vrijwilligers te vinden. We hebben zeer grote behoefte aan vrijwilligers die een project kunnen coördineren. Er is zo ontzettend veel werk dat verzet moet worden… Ideeën zijn er genoeg, maar de man(/vrouw-)kracht en de financiële situatie vormen een beperking.
Het is moedgevend en ontroerend om op de AMCF website de verhalen te lezen van andere organisaties die soortgelijk werk verrichten. Via deze e-mail wensen we hen alle kracht toe om door te zetten.

Yes , we did recieve the Diaproof K box intact yesterday. Was going to inform you today but having a lot of electricity problems here due to extreme summer heat conditions. Have sent the box to the Shelter.

The donations finally arrived in La Pontiga Spain, to which Erica Coors has taken them, she has been helping in several refuges the last 2 months.
So I am so excited, have opened it and was even more excited, did not know what to do with all the different kinds of stuff inside, and what made me tearful was the blankets as I have recently been given (dumped) with two week old kittens, two of which unfortunately have die but I think the last one will survive, so you will be receiving photos of him (I think its a him, not always sure when they are that small), on one of his new blankets.
I would like to thank you and your team at AMFC for your kind donation, this is our first donation from any organization and we are so thrilled to have received this.
I have vet arriving tomorrow for a few days, planning to neuter/spay up to 100 street cats, so I will look in my goodie box and see what I can use.

Thank you very very much from all of us at Animal Rescue, Cape Town, South Africa for the generous box of medications which arrived safely last week. We have had alot of public holidays and our general elections causing a back log in office time! However, the medications have gone straight to the hospital to be used and we would like to say thank you so much for this lovely act of kindness by you.
Our work for sick and suffering township animals continues and we are heading into winter which makes our work difficult.

I would like - on behalf of all the Amazon Cares' staff- to congratulate you as president of Animal Medical Care Foundation and all the sponsors on making this gift possible. We're going to use the medicine and the other stuff in our shelter in the next days, 'cause we begin a new campaign in June so, sadly, we use to bring new damaged animals there. Helga vient de recevoir le paquet que tu lui a envoyé avec les médicaments aujourd'hui. La pauvre, elle souffre à cause des inondations de cette semaine, car le refuge est rempli d'eau. Elle passe sont temps à s'occuper des animaux pour les mettre à l'abri.
Elle doit s'occuper de faire les photos des médicaments, pour te les envoyer.

So are the dogs with their new collars.

By the way many thanks for the books . All the four of them have been sent to the shelter and the vets are happy they have recievced them. And we as shelter managers are now enriching our knowledge by reading these books. They are now a treasure in our great library.

Ingrid en ik zijn nu alweer een paar dagen op Samos. We hebben onze eerste stop gemaakt in Ioannina op het vaste land van Griekenland en hebben daar 750kg voer achter gelaten bij een nieuw zeelandse vrouw die de straat honden van deze plaats wat probeert te helpen. Zijn vervolgens naar Thassos gereden (500km) en hebben de spullen van AMCF afgegeven en 800 kg voer achtergelaten. Ik heb foto.s gemaakt van alle spullen inclusief het voer het staat allemaal op een stapel door elkaar heen ivm het laden van de bus. Ik zal de foto.s een dezer dagen naar je mailen ik moet daar een andere pc voor gebruiken. Ik moest AMCF hartelijk bedanken van Suzanne en Aaron (dit zijn de mensen van Thassos).Ik heb besloten om de door AMCF gedoneerde spullen voor Samos ook bij hun achter te laten omdat de nood op Thassos op dit moment veel hoger is dan op Samos.Ik hoop dat je dat ok vindt.Zij hebben momenteel zo'n 170 honden zitten en toen wij aan kwamen hadden de honden al een paar dagen paardenvoer gekregen omdat er niets meer was voor ze, dus wij kwamen echt op tijd met het voer dus ze kunnen nu weer even voort.
