Bij deze vanaf Fuerteventura heel hartelijk dank voor de donatiebox die de fincahonden eind september hebben ontvangen. Wederom zeer veel nuttige spulletjes waaronder medicijnen, verbandmiddelen, betadinezalf , nagelknipper, hondenstaafjes, speeltjes, halsbanden, anti-vlo middelen etc. De kauwstaafjes zijn al uitgedeeld en veroberd. De speeltjes vliegen al door de lucht en over het terrein. Alle mensen/ bedrijven die bijdroegen aan het verzamelen van spulletjes voor de diverse shelters waaronder de mijne bij deze veel dank. To our happiness we received your parcel a few days ago. Thanks a lot!!! Herewith the pictures. We immediately put one of the very big collars on a German Shepard that just arrived and was in a poor condition. We all felt very sorry for him and this way we could immediately make him feel a little bit better. Many thanks from us all.

Sri Lanka
Dear friends of AMCF,
We have concluded our July trip to Sri Lanka and although there is always so much more we can do, we think we've achieved good results this month. We've sterilized and vaccinated about 100 dogs during various clinics held at different locations. We did this together with our team of veterinarians, assistants, dog catcher, driver and PHI (Public Health Inspector). Our veterinarian Dr. Ranil was once again very pleased with the donations from AMCF. Some of the items we will keep at our compound, such as some toys, flee- and tick medicine and collars. To see the dogs experience their first toy EVER was really amuzing! They don't know what toys are, and they needed some time to figure out what to do with them. Once they knew, it was lots of fun! Besides the mobile clinics, one of our other main activities was to talk to people about Rabies, about dog bite prevention and how to care for animals. We also visited schools to talk to kids about these issues, because kids are generally most at risk, when they play and run around on the streets. We would like to take this opportunity to thank AMCF from the bottom of our hearts for the generous donations. Your help means so much to us! It is so difficult to get by with the minimal funds we have, so the donations from AMCF are priceless. To all the people who help AMCF: Thank you so much!!! SkiathosThanks so much, I just don't know who gets excited the most me or the cats.
The 2 plastic beds are fantastic along with the cooler mat which I have put inside one of them so the kittens are keeping cool when locked away at night, although they have a fan on 24hours a day. The toys are great, as the last lot has been either chased to Timbuktu or played with to death, so at least I can save my aluminium for making foil play balls. The drontal and profenders are a life saver, thank you. The tunnel, well though the kittens would love it, but the older cats have decided to test it out for them. The food bowls are extremely handy as is always bowls you send to us. The scratch mat can now replace the previous one which has been scratched to death and is almost in shreds. All the rest are much appreciated, just praying that I will not have to open the kitten milk powder for a while!!!! Keep up the good and appreciated work. Take care for now. IsraelI am proud to present u with the photos we took with the lovely toys u sent us. The blankets and the black wool pillow we left for the winter since it is extremely hot here. The cats loved the red rug, the little mice, the plastic cage and the litter box. The one who stands with the medicament boxes and a toy is me. I also attached a photo of our vet (and me) examining the anti flea tubes. We very very much appreciate your efforts to help us and thank u on behalf of our beloved cats and kittens.

 | PeruIt was a huge and pleased surprise to open the parcel of AMCF, for the second time ! In this one, we have found a lot of medicine that we use a lot like Front line and antibiotics. Some of them are very specific (and hard to find too), just for one dog in particular, for example Luis who is suffering from artistic pain (so he will benefit from anthrovet). In theses pictures, you could see our vet Miguel and his assistant Gustavo in action with few dogs of our refuge. The medicine arrive a the right time for us because we are going to begin a new campaign for street dogs, so logically, new residents are coming soon with fleas & others troubles.
We would like to congratulate Betty and AMCF Foundation & hers sponsors to make this possible, in the name of Amazon Cares and the animals rescues from the Peruvian's jungle. FranceIn France there is a small shelter called Coeur 4 Pattes they rescue animals from breeders, little dogs that spend their lives giving birth and have become too 'old' for their owners and are brought to the vet for euthanisia. They save them and give them a loving home.

Gambia
The dogs in Gambia are mostly living on the beach.. The Gambian with the lead is looking after that one which has been neutererd and microchipped and given anti-rabies injections. I think that the other dogs have also been treated & neutered. They get collars from the AMCF.
