Despite several requests we have had no replies / photos of the following shelters. Therefor we have put their membership on hold. We understand completely that running a shelter is a 24/7 job but so is running a charity that supports over 80 shelters worldwide. We run the day to day business with 2 people, beside our normal daily routines and work, ofcourse without any compensation. When shelters apply they agree with the terms of membership being confirmation of receipt of parcel and sending pictures of the donations. That is all we require for our support. We find it disappointing that some shelters do find time to post daily numerous messages on Facebook but come up with the excuse “no time” when we ask for a photo.
Cancelled Juli 2011: Micci Felici Italy /Stray Commons Thessaloniki / ACE Egypt / Volyn Oekrain / Animal Help Uruguay Cancelled August 2011: Refuge pres verte France | Ondanks diverse verzoeken hebben we geen antwoord / foto’s ontvangen van de volgende opvangcentra. Daarom hebben wij hun lidmaatschap op hold gezet. We begrijpen volkomen dat het runnen van een opvangcentrum een 24/7 baan is maar dat is het runnen van een stichting die meer dan 80 opvangcentra wereldwijd helpt ook. De dagelijks zaken van de stichting worden door 2 mensen uitgevoerd, die dit doen naast hun dagelijkse werkzaamheden en werk, zonder enige compensatie uiteraard. Wanneer een opvangcentrum lid wordt van de AMCF gaan zij akkoord met de voorwaarden : bevestiging ontvangst van verzonden donaties en het sturen van foto’s van de ontvangen donaties. Dat is alles wat wij vragen voor onze steun. We vinden het erg teleurstellend dat er opvangcentra zijn die wel de tijd vinden om vele berichten dagelijks op Facebook te zetten maar claimen “geen tijd” te hebben wanneer we vragen om een foto.

Thank you so much to AMCF who have sent us another parcel. We received
medical equipment, brushes, worming medicine, and dog clothes in this parcel.
The dog clothes will be very useful, they are for small animals and Korea has mostly small companion dogs. They are very warm and well made so once the winter really kicks in they will be very useful to help keep our dogs warm. The worming and flea medicine is always very useful as this is one of the biggest problems we have in Korea, especially with the young pups who come in. The puppies below and several others were treated on Saturday. We also had three very stressed Jindo dogs, two were not used to being caged and the other had some skin abrasions around her nose and mouth. Unfortunately they were too upset for us to get close to them; but by attaching one of the DAPS collars, the AMCF sent us, to the cage doors we were able to calm the dogs. Volunteers were amazed how the collar, just in close proximity to the dogs had such a calming effect. Thank you so much for them. thank you sooo much for the parcel! In the picture are Jip and Meryl, our 2 youngest residents and Manoula, the oldest one, who need special care... Jip and Meryl are 4 weeks old, they were dumped in a cardboard box - Manoula was found on the beach, thrown away after probably having spent her life as 'gun-dog', which means: being tied to a chain for most of the year, with hardly any food or water. Pakket met spulletjes mee genomen voor asiel in Tomaszów. Momenteel zitten er 165 honden, meer dan ruimte voor is. Overal op het terrein hebben ze tijdelijke onderkomen gemaakt voor de honden. Financiëel is het zwaar al de dieren te voeden en ook van de juiste medische verzorging te voorzien. Men is dankbaar voor de bijdrage in medicijnen en vooral de middelen tegen vlooien en wormen zijn zeer welkom.

Ook deze keer was het door jullie gestuurde pakket weer een lange tijd onderweg. Maar op 13 okt 2011 kon ik jullie AMCF- donatiedoos bij het postkantoor afhalen. Hierbij een leuke foto van het ontvangen pakket, Bij deze ook weer heel hartelijk dank voor de ontvangen donatiebox. Er zitten weer tal van praktische spulletjes en medische artikelen in voor de Fuertedoggies. Ook de tennisballen en lekkernijen zijn meer dan goed ontvangen door de hondjes. January / February were good months for Canine Life Support. We travelled more than usual since we were asked by different people to come and do mobile clinics at different locations. So the team went to Boosa for two days, to do a mobile clinic and awareness program at a school run by another Dutch charity, Carelanka and we also went to Beruwala for three days to do two mobile clinics, an awareness program and a welfare camp. Next to that we also did a mobile clinic and awareness program in Rathnapura, were we are located. There are three types of programs that we do: mobile clinics, welfare camps and awareness programs. In total we performed 258 surgeries, we did two welfare camps and three awareness programs. Canine Life Support would like to thank the AMCF once again for the donations received! You are a tremendous help to us- all the work we do costs a lot of money, so your donations are very much needed and welcome! |  |

Hartstikke bedankt voor het aanbod van het voer! We gaan gelijk even bellen om het materiaal op te halen, binnen onze stichting is er altijd een grote behoefte aan dit soort materiaal. Hi, here are some photos of us using some of the products in our parcel as soon as we received it.! Caramelo, the chestnut horse has a bad injury as you can see and we used syringes and dressings for him to clean the wound. He is still very thin but he was worse when he came to us, if you can believe it. He was being sold for meat. The grey mare, Elegida, has a lump under her eye where a fly laid an egg and we have to clean it every day. Your tube of cream was perfect and the dressings to clean the wound as well. And we have two new horses who need worming. So all in all the timing was perfect. Thank you so much. Regards, Jill |

Note AMCF: after several request we finally got word that the parcel had arrived but that they did not know that they had to make pictures. Last year we cancelled the membership of SARA because we did not receive pictures, they promised to do better so we reinstated them. Now we have the same problem. This is very disappointing to us. We received below message from yet another volonteer at SARA.
"I can inform you that the parcel has arrived, quiet a while ago! I am very sorry, but we did not take any pictures. I wasn’t informed about having to take pictures when the parcel arrives, therefore we have never taken any pictures of it." |

are bit late to reply as we have been busy with helping animals in the bombs
affected areas in Dar es salaam. We will send
to you a report after our work.
We request if possible you can send us with more
more anti-fleas products more so the SPOT ON as fleas infestation is a big
problem to the animals we help in Tanzania, and SPOT ON has been very effective
with extremely execellent results. Sorry for the first e-mail with very tine

BSAPP is very greatful for the continued support of the Animal Medical Care Foundation. We received their Winter donation last week (January 2011), containing lots of absorbent pads and transparent adhesive tape for wounds, gauze sachets, antibiotic sachets and other medicines, collars and leads for dogs. All of the materials will go directly into use for the TNR progamme and for treatments.

The gorgeous horse coat arrived. So elegant, no other donkey has a "Burberry"
rug. Let alone an old rescued donkey. Archie looks great in it and it is so
cosy and keeps him dry. (It was much too big for Rosie)

Bij deze heel hartelijk dank voor de ontvangen donatiebox. Er zitten weer
vele nuttige en bruikbare medische spullen in voor de Fuertedoggies. De
speeltjes hebben hun weg naar de hondjes al gevonden en de nieuwsgierigste
hondjes stonden al klaar al die interessante dingetjes uit de doos weg te kapen.
De lekkernijen zijn al veroberd. De vlooienpippetten zijn al gebruikt en de
verbandmiddelen moesten helaas voor de betreffende pechvogels ook al worden
aangesproken dus het was fijn om die bij de hand te hebben. De spuitjes en
antibiotica komen altijd van pas.
Dank aan alle sympatisanten en donateurs, de steun vanuit AMCF wordt
zeer op prijs gesteld.

at last i got the package!! after three weeks of trying to take it from the post offices ..and they send it twice to Cairo then to Alex,then a team of vets checks on it,trying to know every tablet what is it for and cause it is not with English so they took time to know what is it for in Germany! the problem this time that the amount was many so it wasn't easy to take,remember the big package that you send me this year including carrier and toys also fleas callers didn't have any problem, cause the medicines were not much maybe two or three medicine
i payed to take the package about 30 dollars ,i told them this for helping rescued cats and kitties not for sale it or any thing..but it is Egypt..no thing for free here so please if there is carriers..baskets..pets beds ..toys ..fleas callers or brushes you can send me i will be so happy with it cause i need it allot here, the carrier you send me before helped me allot in moving please no medicines :(((((( dear AMCF team thank you for all you send here for help the poor street cats and kitties who suffers till death,thank you from my heart |

Huyang Thailand - 2/10/2010
The last package for Warin was received much later (when I was at Home in Banglamung) as expected as the Thai post being late. At my last trip I found out that the package was there but Warin was not sure it was the package from AMCF as she is not able to read western Fonts. When I arrived she already was using the contents and had thrown away the package so I was not able to make the promised pictures. I am sorry for that and made a deal with Warin to leave packages and other important stuff till I be back , so It won’t happen again

dear AMCF, thank you so much for the big bacakge that arrived me today,many thing in it are usefull,thank you for the care and help, it came on my home address and i know that i must take photos for it with the rescued cats,so tomorrow i will take it to my office to take some photos for it with them love is not words..its actions and you showed me this today i needed the carriers allot really,i pay on every thing i get through postoffices here but what i payed is less than what i pay for buying i use the cages inside the place..cause some cats love to sleep in it spacailly in winter with some soft blankets or news papers even the lots of papers inside the backage the kitty with tongue outside ..he is at home with me till he recover ..he didnot stop playing with it :) i took some photos for him the callers..are useful too..i love the scratch thing,,the wefood and Whiskas dryfood didnot see before here..i will save it to a very sick case sure it will make them happy thank you allot for every thing in the backage..you made my day lots of love Ayda

I am writing on behalf of KAPS and our founder Sunnan Kum to thank you for our recently received box of goodies.
We were lucky enough to receive more anti-biotics, which are very useful for many of our dogs who come straight off the streets with many diseases. We also received scratch pads, toys and dishes for our cat shelter which the cats are enjoying. We received some much needed collars and leashes for our dogs as well as a tick removal kit. We regularly see many tics in Daegu especially from dogs who have been on the streets for a while. Deer tics are a great problem here but this removal kit will be great for all the kinds we encounter. Emma Thompson |  |
