August 25, Sylvie (our coordinator Virtual Adoption Animals in Medical Need) and Betty (president AMCF) visited the Donkey shelter Aide aux Anes in Gipcy.

The AMCF is proud to announce that we have agreed to cooperate with the French organisation Lévriers Libres (Free Sighthounds). This organisation united several French greyhound, galgo en podenco rescue organisations and holds cooperation very high like we do. They strive to support small animal shelters that receive no or hardly any support. The cooperation will consist of exchanging donations (material) and support with small projects. Friday 8 May the first donations by AMCF were done for a small shelter in Sevilla where Levriers Libres will pay a visit.

project Thassos Greece

We got an emergency mail from our friends at Animal Care Samos. At the isle of Thassos lives an English couple that help dogs and horses. They have no electricity, no running water and try to cope with the little they have. The people of ACS are going by car there in February (3 days drive from Holland) and asked if we could help. Ofcourse we said yes. These are the items that are going there

- a big box filled with horse blankets, reins, halters etc
- two bags of horse cookies
