Daegu Dog Adoption Center' = Problem

KAPS' Dog Adoption Center in = Daegu city, has been maintained at the top of a four-story building = located near the first KAPS animal shelter (our cat shelter) for last 20 = years. Although the place is not big, the landlord loved animals and let = us use the area at a low rental fee of =A1=CC200 per month. = Unfortunately, the landlord passed away recently, and his heir is = pressuring us to remove all the dogs and empty the place.

Animals Rescued in Miserable = Conditions

This= cat was looking for something to eat on a dump ground. Some primary = school students passing there scared her for fun and the cat was = frightened away in a hurry. The cat ran toward a broken mirror in a = corner of the dump, and her stomach was torn as it bumped into a sharp = edge of the broken mirror. A merchant in the neighborhood of the dump = saw the cat few days ago, and took pity on the cat with some food. The = merchant said the cat chased by children suddenly disappeared and when = he looked for the cat after seeing pool of blood around the broken = mirror, he found that the cat was sitting with internal organs gushed = out. If it were a human being, the merchant could take him/her to a = hospital immediately holding the internal organs, but the wild cat = tried! to run away and more internal organs gushed out when the merchant = approached the cat. Our rescue staff barely rescued the cat, but = everything in her belly came out and intestines coiled her body. The cat = died when he was on the way to a hospital in a vehicle.

Myong-rang(f) Kim Su Young heard = mewing sound of some kitten in his house since few days ago, but he = couldn=A1=AFt find where. After few days, he found his Jindo dog Myongho = holding and licking a kitten on the ground.Su Young lifted the kitten up = in his arms immediately. =A1=B0Normally Jindo dog is a instinctive = hunting dog and tend to kill small animal, but nothing like that = happened to Myongho, and now he rescued a young kitten,=A1=B1 said Su = Young proudly who brought the kitten to our shelter.
