Beste dierenliefhebbers en -liefhebsters,

 Hierbij doen we een oproep voor de dieren in enkele buitenlandse asielen en enkele Hollandse dierenopvangen, waarbij wij jouw hulp nodig hebben. Er is armoede in Holland maar de armoede in het buitenland en dan bedoelen we natuurlijk de dieren in de asiels daar, is niet voor te stellen.

De AMCF ondersteunt zoals jullie weten meer dan 70 opvangcentra wereldwijd. In sommige opvangcentra zitten 500 honden, het enige eten wat ze krijgen is oud brood of bedorven vlees. Met de huidige overstromingen in Polen en Hongarije staat het water de opvangcentra letterlijk aan de lippen. Vele duizenden dieren zijn al verdronken. De vrijwilligers doen wat ze kunnen maar met de weinig middelen die ze hebben is het verzorgen van wonden de allerlaatste prioriteit en meestal is hier geen geld voor.

Vlooien en teken zijn met name in de zomer een van de grootste problemen en daarom deze zomeractie in samenwerking met 9 andere dierenorganisaties.

Iedere euro die u doneert aan één van de 10 onderstaande dieren organisaties, wordt door een anonieme schenker met 50% verhoogd **.

** De actie 50% verhoging heeft voor de AMCF het maximum bereikt op 10 juni. Dat wil zeggen dat alle donaties die na deze datum ontvangen worden niet meer met 50% verhoogd worden. Wij zijn bijzonder blij dat deze anonieme sponsors zo'n groot dierenhart hebben en zijn hen heel dankbaar voor alle steun die ze aan de 10 deelnemende organisaties geven en we hopen op uw begrip.

It has been more thatn a year now since AMCF started helping us.  Our dog Gonso has his foster parents at AMCF and they help him to keep healthy by paying for the medication he needs for his pancreatic bad condition.  Now Duque , who has heart problems, has also been proposed for foster adoption at AMCF. 
We have also received many neccesary medicines and accesories from AMCF.  They always make a previous work to know exactly what is needed and where it is needed and this way They optimize all the donations that people give to them, and everything is sent exactly where it is more necesary, and therefore nothing is wasted.
IIt is really moving to see their web page, where we can see that other people like us, in places so far away, are also working to reach the same aim.
We are really gratefull to AMCF and to all its donors and collaborators.

Our finances are always really strectched as we rely solely on donations from the public to help the equines in France that need us.The assistance we receive from AMCF in the form of  products is greatly welcomed and a huge asset. We appreciate the generosity of the companies and individuals who donate their products to AMCF and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those also.
The money we save on products that AMCF donate to our Association means that we can use that money elsewhere to help more equines. We all work voluntarily at Equine Rescue France and so anything donated to the Association is always a real morale boost for us.

"Rescue Remedies - Dog Rescue is run solely by volunteers.  We rely on donations, fundraising & our adoption fees to fund our veterinary and kennels bills.  We make every penny we raise count and spend nothing on expenses or admin. We never have surplus cash - a dog is homed, another comes in!  We don't discriminate against age, health or breed and we have a no-kill policy and offer our dogs our "back-up for life". We home approx 250 dogs a year, many of which we save from pounds at the 11th hour from the "Put to Sleep" list.  These dogs are usually young, innocent, gentle, easily homeable and are in this position through no fault of their own - sadly society is at fault.  We spay/neuter, vaccinate, microchip, flea & worm treat all our dogs prior to homing. 
So you might say, what does AMCF mean to us? It means the world to us to be able to receive the support of an organisation that is able to send us the important little extras that we cannot afford ourselves.  It not only makes a difference to the work we do, but it makes the world of difference to the dogs we save, treat and home.  Rescue work involves many lows and a few highs and we are honoured to be included in AMCF's programme ... a definite helping hand and lift ... a very welcome high. Don't ever consider their work not worthwhile because down on the ground it's priceless.  Thank you AMCF"!
